In this episode we talk with Allie Wells, PT, DPT about the importance of pelvic health and optimal performance.
Allie is a licensed physical therapist who graduated from Utica College. She had a unique background during her didactic and clinical experience as a student physical therapist that has led her to pursue a career as a pelvic floor specialist. Currently, Allie is pursuing her passion at the University of Vermont by helping individuals across the life span to overcome pelvic floor dysfunction. She has strong interest and desire to help all individuals to function at their highest level. Allie has been a featured speaker at the NYPTA Finger Lake District Meeting on “Pelvic Health for the Non-Specialist.” Allie is also a team member of the NPTE Final Frontier prep program that is helping physical therapy students across the country to become a licensed physical therapists. Allie lives on a lake surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains with her husband and golden retriever. She enjoys spending her free time outside being active and enjoying nature.
